Ingredients

  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves ( large)
  • 250 gr butter (grass-fed preferably)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp oregano (dry)
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese grated (optional)

  • Using a blender, mix the garlic cloves and olive oil until well combined. Add the butter and salt and blend for a few more seconds until butter becomes creamy and mixes well into the oil and garlic mixture . Lastly stir through the dry oregano and finely grated parmesan cheese (if using).

Notes

1. This garlic butter recipe can be doubled and stored in the fridge for up to a month (check the use by date of the butter), or you can freeze it in ice cube trays and use it as needed.
2. I have added dry oregano to this garlic butter recipe, but you can substitute it with any dry herbs you have on hand. Parsley, basil or thyme will go nice.
3. If preferred, you can use fresh instead of dry herbs . If made with fresh herbs, it will last around ten days in the fridge.
4. You can also add a squeeze of lemon for an extra boost.
